Canada Updated Skilled Occupation List 2015 For Express Entry

From 1st January 2015, if a person wants to immigrate to Canada then he will have to undergo a new procedure to be selected as skilled pros or trades persons. This new process of selection has been introduced by the Canadian Government for individuals to be considered as a permanent Resident. This new scheme is known as Express Entry to Canada and is initiated by Citizenship and Immigration Canada. This change is in fact a landmark change which has its doors open for individuals who are interested to immigrate to this country. Lets us now look at the key features of this milestone change as below:

1.      The FSW Express section system in Canada is simply changing in determination process and not choice criteria for transients needing to settle down in Canada as a gifted specialist. So now, the candidates can move to Canada when they are invited to apply under government talented specialist program by Citizenship plus Immigration Canada.

2.      Those who are qualified for them getting invited are not difficult and they will enter an extra phase known as the Express Entry Pool.The application remains in the pool for a year and then it will be withdrawn and if the person is still interested then he has to re-enter.

3.      The applications to be filed in the pool will need to follow a CRS (comprehensive Ranking system) introduced by the Canada Express Entry and it will be based on points.

4.      Higher ranked candidates in the pool will be selected when regular draws are conducted. Also, candidates who have confirmed job offers from the Canadian employers will be ranked higher and they may also be selected first.

5.      Instructions for the selection of applicants will be posted on the internet sites of the Citizenship plus Immigration Canada. The instructions will contain the dates of the draw and the number of applicants who will be selected. The basis of selection from the pool will be on a CRS program.

6.      As Candidates with confirmed job offer will not be many in number the chances without such assured job offers will be bright. But sometimes after the applicant has joined the pool an employer may offer him a job. Under such circumstances the details entered in the CRS will get updated and the person will move to a higher rank in the pool.

7.      Once your application is filed in the express entry group, options for you as a provincial nomination increases! As a provincial nominee you are eligible to earn extra points under the CRS, thus in creasing the odds of moving to a higher position in the rankings.

8.      In Express entry plan all professions are currently eligible to file their application in the federal trained employee program. AS of now there are no per occupation quotas’ in the Canada Express Entry!

9.      Applicants who are selected from the express entry group must guarantee that they will comply with the federal point’s selection criterion and its prerequisites. He will then have to select his fiscal category migrant programs under which he is applying.

10.  It has been pointed out by the Citizenship plus Immigration Canada that applications for permanent residency selected from the group will take only 6 months to be processed.
